The expecting couple wanted a celebration that felt joyful and heartfelt - a ‘locally grown’ inspired baby shower with farmer’s market charm, elevated through refined details and a fresh, modern approach to design.
Muted primary tones set the foundation, layered with fresh fruits, vegetables, and natural textures to strike the perfect balance between kitschy and chic. The result was a space that felt joyful, intentional, and effortlessly elevated - rooted in community, abundance, and love.
Locally Grown
Johnny & Maddie’s Baby Shower

The vision: a ‘locally grown’ inspired baby shower that felt playful yet refined. Think fresh-picked produce and elevated picnic-style details. The vibe was sweet, welcoming, and design-forward, celebratory without feeling overly styled.

I designed all custom print collateral, from the invitation suite to baby shower games, welcome signage, photo drop signage, and bar and food displays. Each element featured thoughtful, baby-inspired language—Pour Local, Farm to Table Grazing, Baked With Love—adding charm while reinforcing the overall theme.
To bring the concept to life visually, I curated a four-foot grazing spread using picnic baskets, seasonal florals, and fresh produce to create an abundant, market-style display that doubled as décor.

With most of the budget allocated to lunch and beverages, I focused on maximizing visual impact through creative styling and hands-on execution. Fresh fruits and vegetables were used throughout the space as décor, paired with sweet details like a handmade baby onesie garland for a personal, heartfelt touch.
I supported all décor sourcing, managed a team of five, and was on-site both the day before and the day of the event to oversee setup, styling, and execution—ensuring a seamless experience for the hosts and a memorable, joy-filled celebration for guests.
